Organizations using Mentor may upload courses, training materials, and other content to the platform.The organization that provides this content remains the owner of that content. Mentor does not claim ownership of it.

We may access and review content uploaded to Mentor as necessary to operate the platform and to ensure that content complies with our Terms & Conditions and our standards for appropriate, accurate, and responsible educational content.

This may include reviewing content for potential safety or accuracy concerns, particularly content involving climbing, climbing equipment, or personal protective equipment (PPE).

Course activity may also be visible to the organization that provides or assigns the course. For example, an organization may be able to see whether its students have enrolled in, completed, or otherwise interacted with its courses.

4. When We Share Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We will not provide your personal information to third parties for their own use without your express permission, except where disclosure is necessary to:
  • Provide the services you have requested, such as processing payments or hosting and operating the platform

Course Content After Cancellation

If an organization stops using Mentor, its courses are no longer available to students.

To make it possible for an organization to return to Mentor without rebuilding its courses, we may retain its course content and other uploaded materials in our backend for up to three years, subject to available storage.

After that period, we may permanently delete the content associated with the inactive account.

8. Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident involving personal information, we will respond as required by applicable law.

Depending on where you live and which privacy laws apply to you, you may have rights concerning your personal information. These may include the right to:

Mentor is designed primarily as a training platform for climbing gyms, brands, and their employees, staff, and other learners.

Organizations that use Mentor are responsible for ensuring that their use of the platform with minors complies with applicable laws and that any required parental or guardian consent is obtained.

If you believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information to Mentor without appropriate consent, please contact us so that we can review and address the situation.

12. Business Transfers

If Mentor is acquired, sold, reorganized, or transferred to another company, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Your organization's course content remains the property of the organization that provided it, as described in our Terms & Conditions.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of third-party websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.
